Almond Milk with Nutmeg

According to ancient medicinal practices, nutmeg (or jaiphal as it is called in Hindi) has gently calming and stress relieving properties. Hence an excellent remedy to help you get good sleep. Recommended for those who have trouble falling off to sleep.

Ingredients:

5 – 6 Almonds (soaked for 4 hours)

1 pinch nutmeg powder

1 pinch cardamom powder

Liquid Jaggery to taste ( optional)

 

Method:

  • Grind the almonds with some water into a fine paste. Add enough water to make 1 cup.

  • Warm the almond milk. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well.

  • Drink warm just before going to sleep.
